Liverpudlian band The Night Café are an incredibly exciting prospect. Their new single ‘Mixed Signals’ takes indie song writing back to its basics, but the young quartet execute it so, so well. A potent recipe of razor sharp vocal harmonies, a driving rhythm section, and excellently written and performed guitar lines all combine to create a hugely enjoyable wall of sound; perfect for singer Sean Martin’s warming tone to weave around. The Night Café are doing everything right so far, and with the news of their first London headline show arriving this week (December 7th, at The Old Blue Last) - we’d recommend you all get used to the name, as you’ll be hearing it a lot in the months to come. -JC
